Ayelet Iontef, a very talented textile designer of all *over*print shares her beautiful work and a few creative corners from her home in Israel.

This interesting lamp is a mix from habitat and decorative felt that she received as a gift from Brussels.
Ayelet shares her creative work space here, she has many boxes filled with colourful yarns, fabrics, buttons and craft materials.
This inspiration board is one-of-a-kind, Ayelet and her typographer husband Yanek, have been adding inspiration for the pass 15 years and the rule is , you can only add but you can't remove anything from it!

She describes her home as contemporary but also individualistic. Modern lines but with a sense of warmth and comfort. 
Her philosophy, that truly reflects in her home, is that one need not spend loads of money to buy paintings by famous artists to make one's home beautiful. Being creative and inventive is the key.

Mr & Mrs. as she calls them were picked up from a garage sale in Kansas City.
A cotton durrie hangs on the wall was a gift from her mother-in-law.
This bedroom corner has simple elements of nature. A set of four framed leaves picked up during her morning walks. The delicate leaf pattern on the table lamp goes really well with the frames.
This photograph in the silver frame is of Shalini's maternal grandmother. * So beautiful*
Books form an intergral part of Shalini's home space. Another very important thing in her home is nature's treasures brought back from morning walks:-)
Delicate Neem flowers, Frangipani or even few stems of fresh neem leaves add that extra cheer to her space.
"My home is a place where you can put your feet up, curl up on the couch and simply feel at ease." says Shalini.

Megha continues, " There is a lot of wooden furniture and especially European ones bought in flea markets and restored by me."

Her room is painted in two colours inspired by Indian village homes and here you see some of her handbags displayed on hooks.

This is Megha's workspace. Her latest works and inspirations hang on this gorgeous yellow wall. 
Last but not the least, this Ikea cast in her children's room has been hand painted by Megha!
I have open shelves in many rooms, it breaks the monotony and creates space for adding interesting elements.
I love open shelves in the kitchen. Yes, the little black board has found it's place in the new kitchen too:-)
